1. Perishable Foodstuffs & Statutory Cancellation Exemption

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Part 3, Section 28(1)(b), statutory cancellation rights do not apply to contracts for the supply of goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

• Once fresh poultry or meat has been transferred from our temperature-controlled vehicles to your premises, the cold-chain responsibility transfers to the customer.
• Customers must inspect wholesale boxes, labels, and seals upon driver handover.
• In the rare event of damaged transit packaging or genuine product defect, notice must be given to the driver immediately upon arrival or submitted via WhatsApp with photographic evidence within 2 hours of delivery.

2. Delivery Slot & Customer Presence

All deliveries are carried out according to the following operational parameters:

Customer Responsibility: An authorized adult must be available at the designated address during the delivery window to receive and store the refrigerated goods immediately. If a delivery attempt fails because no recipient is present, a redelivery surcharge will apply, or the order may be cancelled without refund due to spoilage risks.

3. Wholesale Packaging & Certified EC Halal Standards

Our products are intended for wholesale trade and commercial supply:

• Official EC Health Marks: All meat boxes originate from licensed slaughterhouses with genuine European Community (EC) health stamps certifying Halal compliance and veterinary safety.
• Standard Wholesale Packaging: Sold in factory standard wholesale boxes (e.g. 10kg boxes, 5kg bags, or whole sheep carcasses). Custom butchering (e.g., skinning or specialized portioning) is not included unless explicitly chosen as a pre-cut variant.
• Catch-Weight Items: Items priced per kg (such as Whole Sheep 14kg–18kg or Tripe blocks) will be weighed prior to dispatch and invoiced at the agreed price per kg.

4. Payment Terms & Handover Verification

Royal Halal Chicken Ltd accepts two verified payment options:

Goods remain the property of Royal Halal Chicken Ltd until full payment is received. Delivery drivers are instructed not to release goods without confirmed payment.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
